Solid Drilling

There are several types of solid drilling tools available. All tools have a fix adjusted diameter for a better handling. The tools characterize themselves by high surface quality and a low axial mismatch. The assortment of different insert geometries allows an optimal adaption of the tools to the boring task (Material).

The following tools are available:

Type 1465: VKA, one insert, BTA- thread. Boring range Ø16,00 - 35,00 mm
Type 1466: VKA, one insert, STS- thread. Boring range: Ø16,00 - 35,00 mm
Type 1467: VKA, one insert, ejector system. Boring range: Ø16,00 - 35,00 mm
Type 1450: VKW TAN, BTA- thread. Boring range: Ø 47,00 mm – 305,99 mm.( 3 and more inserts, depending on the diameter)
Type 1451: VKW TAN, STS- thread. Boring range: Ø 47,00 mm – 305,99 mm.( 3 and more inserts, depending on the diameter)
Type 1455: VKW with two inserts and BTA-thread. Boring Range: Ø 35,00 mm – Ø 50,00 mm.

Type 1456: VKW with two inserts and STS-thread. Boring Range: Ø 35,00 mm – Ø 50,00 mm.
Type 1458: VKW with two inserts, ejector system. Boring Range: Ø 35,00 mm – Ø 50,00 mm.)
Type 1456: VKW with three and more inserts (depending on the diameter), STS-thread. Boring Range: Ø 50,00 mm – Ø 209,99 mm.)
Type 1455: VKW with three and more inserts (depending on the diameter), BTA-thread. Boring Range: Ø 50,00 mm – Ø 209,99 mm.
